Dr. Chikes Is Delighted To Serve The Ephrata Area As A Full-Time Orthodontist

Benjamin F. D. Chikes, D.D.S. opened his Orthodontic practice at 107 East Locust Street on August 20, 1990. He is currently located at 150 West Fulton Street, Ephrata, PA.

Dr. Chikes, a native of Pennsylvania grew up in Washington, D.C. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the American University in Washington, D.C. Upon graduation he attended the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia where he received his dental degree. Dr. Chikes then accepted a commission into the U.S. Army with the rank of Captain. He served three years at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Upon the completion of his tour of duty in 1987, he moved to Lancaster, Pennsylvania and served the community as a general dentist. In 1988 Dr. Chikes moved to Teaneck, New Jersey to accept residency training in Orthodontics at Fairleigh Dickinson University. After graduating in June 1990, he returned to Lancaster County and set up his office in Ephrata. He received Board Certification in 2005. Dr. Chikes, his wife Anne and two sons Andrew and Matthew are delighted to be able to serve the Ephrata area as their full time Orthodontist.
